2024 Fellowship Art Show
April 5-28, 2024 | Lichtenstein Center for the Arts
The Berkshire Art Association showcases the work of 17 exceptional college artists at the 2024 BAA College Fellowship Show.
The show was juried by a panel representing several visual art disciplines. Of 141 works submitted, 36 were chosen for exhibition. The BAA Board invites you to see this work, and meet the student, studying or from Berkshire County.
For some, this is the first opportunity to present work at a public gallery, an invaluable experience for emerging artists.
The Berkshire Art Association recognized and awarded fellowship money to 17 college art students. With the help of a generous grant from the Feigenbaum Foundation, cash awards totaling $5000 were presented. The Feigenbaum grant funds awards to these young artists, and extends our ability to offer these awards far into the future. Students who are Berkshire residents are eligible for the Norman and Rose Avnet Fellowship Award.
Receiving this year’s Norman and Rose Avnet Fellowship Award was Falcon Laina from Bard College at Simon’s Rock. Fellowship awards were made possible thanks to a generous grant from the Feigenbaum Foundation. $5000 in awards were handed out at an awards reception held at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts on Saturday, April 6, 2024.
