Berkshire County Secondary School Art Field Trip & Art Project Fund

BAA supports public high school teachers in bringing high quality art experiences to their students. High school art teachers throughout Berkshire County are invited to apply for up to $200 to fund special projects. Up to $200 can be used to defray the costs of supplies and/or equipment that could not be purchased with their school budget.

To apply, teachers must submit a description of the lesson, unit or project, including instructional goals, the number of students served, and a list of materials and prices from an art supplier. The $200 may cover all or part of the materials.

Applications will be selected based on the project goals and the benefit to the students involved.

Checks will be made payable to the supplier or the teacher may be reimbursed, provided receipts are submitted. Teachers may apply once per calendar year.

This initiative is separate from the $200 in field trip money BAA provides on a yearly basis to County art teachers that apply.

Project Follow-up:
After your lesson, please email a short report of the activity to info@berkshireartassociation.org and photographs documenting the experience for use in BAA materials.
