Thursday, February 20th, the second edition of the “10×10 Real Art Party”, a collaboration between the Berkshire Art Association and the Storefront Artist Project, was held at the Berkshire Museum.  As in the previous year, it was a highly anticipated featured event of the “10×10 Upstreet Arts Festival” with many of the region’s top well-regarded and emerging artists donating artwork of 10”x10” dimensions in a variety of mediums for the event. From January 4 to February 1, 2014, the Berkshire Art Association is presenting “JOHN STRITCH POSTERS: Off the Wall” at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts, 28 Renne Avenue, Pittsfield, Massachusetts. John Stritch’s bold, serigraphed posters encompass the spirit of the Berkshires’ cultural venues, athletic events, and scenic beauty over the past forty years.  Although only a part of Stritch’s oeuvre, the posters reflect his knowledge and love for his subjects in a way that any audience can appreciate.
