BAA Biennial: Showing Up

The Berkshire Art Association presents Showing Up: for Our Neighborhoods, Our Communities and Each Other – a juried exhibition of contemporary art exploring themes of community and civic engagement. Interpretations of the theme, as well as the definitions of ‘community’ and ‘neighborhood’ are open to the Artist. Artists working in all media will be considered for acceptance. The call is open to artists living and working in the Northeast (New England and New York). Image above:  Eli Shalan – Jones & Son On Friday April 6th, the Berkshire Art Association (BAA) showcases the work of seventeen exceptional college artists at the BAA Fellowship Show awards reception from 5-8 pm at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts, 28 Renne Avenue, in Pittsfield. The show was juried by a panel of art professionals, and cash awards totaling $5,000 will be presented. The opening is part of Pittsfield’s First Friday Artswalk.
