The Berkshire Art Association seeks contemporary art for its biennial juried show at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts, planned for October 2-November 21 at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts, 28 Renne Avenue, Pittsfield, MA. The awards reception will be Saturday, October 3, from 3-6 pm.
A virtual gallery tour is planned. Art in all media is sought. Artists working in New York and New England are invited to submit, responding to our theme, NEXT.
Where do we go next? What do we do next? What comes next?
Mary Rentz, BAA board member, pondered, “As individuals. NEXT door? As a community. NEXT generation? As a country. NEXT steps? As a world. Artists are asked to submit an artist’s statement which addresses the art they are submitting, and may submit jpegs of up to 3 works, with up to 3 views of each work, for a $25 fee. the call will be open from Tuesday, May 26 to Friday, July 31, 2020. Artists will be notified of their acceptance by Sunday, August 23, 2020.
