BAA Artist Directory

Discover BAA Artist Members in our comprehensive and ever-expanding Artist Directory.

You are a part of the BAA’s mission to connect artists and community, inspire creativity, and increase access to the visual arts. Maybe you donate every year. Your contributions are the foundation of the BAA, and we thank you for your ongoing support. If you can give more, this is a great year to do so. Maybe you’ve put a few dollars in a jar at a BAA exhibit or fundraiser. Would you consider making an annual gift? You can do this easily by mail or online through our website. Perhaps you once made a $10 contribution to be in the Artists Directory, and we’ve kept your name there for people to reach out and learn more about you and your work. Will you donate $10 again, and commit to doing so monthly or annually?

If you’d like to be included in the listing as a BAA Artist, please use the Artist Directory Google Form to submit your information.

The Directory is constantly growing. If you have recently submitted a form to be listed as an artist, please know we handle additions on a rolling basis. Thank you for your patience!

We have a request.

Biographical Info

Kim Arre-Gerber is an artist and designer based in the Berkshires. She specializes in painting, photography and graphic design. Before Kim founded Animal Laughter Studios a decade ago, she worked on the creative end of the newspaper and print business.

Kim combines her love of art and compassion for animals in her favorite medium, acrylic. Creating pet portraits in a unique and whimsical light (no one does smiling dogs better), Kim has the unique talent of capturing the essence of the pets she paints. A self-prescribed dog-a-holic, Kim believes all animals deserve unconditional love. She’s known in the Berkshire community as a devoted animal advocate, and compassionate shelter volunteer, giving back as often as possible to animal causes near and far. She’s a member of the League of Animal Artists, Canine Art Guild, Berkshire Art Association, Columbia-Greene & Berkshire Humane Societies, and German Shepherd Rescue of New England.

Using her skills as an artist, Kim’s on a mission to put a smile on everyone’s face, one animal at a time. Her passion for her work is evident in her custom portraits where she uses photographs to create original pieces of art- each as unique as her clients and their beloved companions.
